Job Description: Company Information: Action Aero Inc. specializes in the maintenance and manufacturing of fuel, oil, and air related engine accessories installed on the PT6A, PT6T, PW100, JT15D, LF502/507 and RR250 engines.
Duties (including but not limited to):
Plan, organize, direct, and control all production activities
Ensure operations are carried out in an appropriate and cost-effective way
Improve operational management systems and processes
Manage resource allocation based on first in first out production system
Coach self-directed work teams to implement process improvements to increase customer satisfaction
Monitor, and identify new, daily and monthly KPI's to ensure continuous improvement and site performance
Lead New Product Introduction activities to expand company capabilities
Lead identification and implementation of repair development opportunities to reduce costs
Facilitate communication within work teams and act as a Liaison between work teams and management
Assist with planning and implementing strategic and operational objectives
Wages:
$70K - $95K
Benefits:
Available after 6 months probation.
Required Skills:
Qualifications (Skills/Knowledge):
5 years experience managing production aerospace environment or a similar role
Strong technical background using manuals and other OEM technical data
Knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management
Familiarity with business and financial principles
Excellent leadership skills
Degree in Business from an accredited University or College considered an asset
Excellent computer skills (MS Office, etc.)
Outstanding organizational skills
Lean and Six Sigma certifications required
